1 About These Terms
"We", "us", and "our" mean Nilantra Technologies. "You" means any person who downloads, accesses, creates an account, posts content, lists a business, or otherwise uses Nila Connect.
Nila Connect is a local discovery and community platform. We provide the platform; users and businesses are responsible for the content and information they submit.
2 Changes to These Terms & Conditions
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be available on this page. Where required or appropriate, we may also notify users through the app, website, or email. Continued use of Nila Connect after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms & Conditions.
We may also add, change, suspend, or remove app features as part of operating and improving the service.
3 Eligibility and Account Responsibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, or you must use the app with proper consent and supervision from a parent or legal guardian where permitted by law.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
- If you use the app for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that business.
- We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access where required to protect users, the service, or our legal rights.
4 What The App Provides
Nila Connect may provide:
- Business listings, reviews, ratings, offers, and promotions
- Community posts, local updates, jobs, and announcements
- Emergency, civic, market-price, and other local information
- Tools for users to report content and for businesses to manage listings
5 User Content
You are responsible for the content you submit, including reviews, ratings, posts, photos, comments, reports, business information, offers, and job listings.
- You confirm that you have the right to submit the content.
- You must not submit false, misleading, unlawful, abusive, defamatory, hateful, obscene, infringing, or harmful content.
- You keep ownership of your content, but you give us permission to host, display, moderate, reproduce, and distribute it as needed to operate and promote the app.
- We may edit, hide, remove, or refuse content at any time if we believe it violates these Terms, creates risk, receives credible reports, or may harm users or the service.
- We do not endorse user content and are not responsible for losses caused by user-submitted content.
6 Business Listings, Offers, and Jobs
- Business owners are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings, offers, prices, job posts, contact details, and business information.
- Users should verify details directly with the business before relying on any listing, price, offer, or job post.
- Nilantra Technologies is not a party to transactions, employment discussions, disputes, payments, guarantees, refunds, or services between users and businesses.
- Verified or listed status does not mean we guarantee a business, product, job, price, or offer.
7 Prohibited Use
You must not:
- Use the app for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity
- Post fake reviews, manipulate ratings, impersonate others, or misrepresent a business
- Harass, threaten, defame, discriminate against, or harm another person
- Upload malware or attempt to access accounts, systems, APIs, or data without permission
- Scrape, copy, resell, or commercially exploit app data without written permission
- Interfere with the security, availability, or normal operation of the app
Violation of these rules may lead to content removal, account suspension, account deletion, legal action, or reporting to authorities where appropriate.
8 Reports and Moderation
Users may report inappropriate content, fake listings, abuse, or rights violations through the app or by emailing support@nilaconnect.in. We may review reports at our discretion and take action we consider appropriate.
We are not required to monitor every item before it appears, and moderation decisions may be made to protect users, the service, and legal compliance.
9 Intellectual Property
The app, name, logo, design, software, branding, and company-created content belong to Nilantra Technologies or its licensors. You may use the app only as allowed by these Terms.
If you believe content in the app infringes your intellectual property rights, contact us with enough information to review the issue.
10 No Emergency or Professional Advice
Nila Connect may display emergency, civic, market, business, job, or local information for convenience. It is not an emergency service, government service, legal adviser, financial adviser, medical adviser, or employment agency.
In an emergency, contact the appropriate official emergency service directly.
11 Disclaimers
The app and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that:
- The app will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- All information in the app is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your needs
- Businesses, users, offers, jobs, or third-party content will meet your expectations
- Any defect, error, or issue will be corrected within a specific time
You use the app and rely on information at your own risk.
12 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nilantra Technologies, its directors, employees, contractors, and partners will not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, reputation, opportunity, or business
- Losses caused by user content, business listings, offers, jobs, third-party services, inaccurate information, or transactions between users and businesses
- Service interruptions, delays, errors, security incidents, or unavailable features, except where liability cannot be excluded by law
Where liability cannot be fully excluded, our total liability will be limited up to the amount you paid us, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
13 Indemnity
You agree to protect and hold harmless Nilantra Technologies, its directors, employees, contractors, and partners from claims, losses, damages, costs, and expenses arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your content, business listing, offer, job post, review, report, or other submission
- Your misuse of the app or violation of law
- Your infringement of another person's rights
14 Account Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the app at any time and may request account deletion through the app or by contacting us.
We may suspend, restrict, delete, or terminate your account or content if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, submitted unlawful or harmful content, misused the app, or if we are required to do so by law.
15 App Stores and Third-Party Services
Your download and use of the app may also be subject to Apple App Store or Google Play Store terms. Apple and Google are not responsible for providing support for Nila Connect, except as required by their own terms.
The app may include links, phone numbers, maps, websites, or services controlled by third parties. We are not responsible for third-party content, actions, availability, policies, or losses.
16 General Terms
These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement between you and Nilantra Technologies for use of the app. If any part is found unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply. Our failure to enforce a term immediately does not waive our right to enforce it later.
We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages, cyberattacks, natural disasters, government action, strikes, war, civil unrest, or infrastructure failure.
17 Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. The parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith by contacting support@nilaconnect.in. Subject to applicable law, the courts having competent jurisdiction at Palakkad, Kerala, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms & Conditions, the app, or the services.
