2 Account Help

Forgot password

Use Forgot Password on the login screen. The app will send an OTP to your registered email address.

Update account details

You can update supported profile details from the app. If you cannot access your account, email us from your registered email address.

Suspended or restricted account

Accounts may be restricted if we detect misuse, false information, spam, harmful content, security risk, or violation of our Terms. You may contact us to ask for a review.

3 Delete Your Account

You may request account deletion at any time.

In the app

  1. Open Nila Connect
  2. Go to Profile
  3. Tap Delete Account
  4. Select a reason and confirm when prompted

By email

  1. Email support@nilaconnect.in from your registered email address
  2. Use subject line: Account Deletion Request
  3. Include your username and a short confirmation that you want the account deleted
Once deletion is requested, the account is hidden and app access is disabled. Personal data is scheduled for permanent deletion from the active database within 30 days, unless limited records must be kept for legal, security, fraud prevention, or dispute reasons. Backup copies may remain for up to 90 days before being overwritten or purged.

4 Reports and Safety

How do I report inappropriate content or a fake business listing?
Use the Report button in the app or email support@nilaconnect.in with the listing, post, review, or username and the reason for the report.
What happens after a report?
We may review the report and take action we consider appropriate, including hiding content, editing incorrect information, restricting accounts, or taking no action if the report cannot be verified.
Emergency information
Nila Connect is not an emergency service. In an emergency, contact the appropriate official emergency number or authority directly.

5 Business Support

How do I list or claim my business?
Use the business listing or claim option in the app where available. If the partner portal is not yet available, contact support and include your business name, address, phone number, and proof that you are authorised to manage it.
Who is responsible for business details and offers?
Business owners are responsible for keeping listings, prices, offers, timings, job posts, and contact details accurate. Users should verify important details directly with the business.

6 App Issues

The app is crashing or not loading. What should I do?
Force-close and reopen the app, check for an update, restart your device, and check your internet connection. If the issue continues, email us with your device model, operating system version, app version, and screenshots if possible.
Why am I not receiving notifications?
Nila Connect may use in-app notifications. Make sure you are logged in, refresh the app, and check your internet connection.

7 Data Requests

I want to export a copy of my data. How?
Email support@nilaconnect.in with subject Data Export Request from your registered email. We may ask for verification before sharing account data.
I want to correct my data. How?
Update supported details in the app, or email us from your registered email address with the correction request.

8 Security Vulnerabilities

If you discover a security issue in Nila Connect or our API, email support@nilaconnect.in with subject Security Disclosure. Please do not publicly disclose the issue until we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate and respond.
